My daughter & I made this for my husband's 50th b'day & it turned out just great except for the crack that developed on top. Next time I will try some of the tips suggested by some of the readers to avoid the crack.

I made this and another cheesecake for Easter Dinner and this was a great hit. I was so disappointed that there were no leftovers for me to bring home!

For this recipe, do you separate the oreos and take the cream out of the middle? Thanks for the help!

I have made this several times for my entire family and they loved it! However, I use the golden oreos instead of the regular ones. It turned out great!

I made this cheese cake a couple of times. Everyone loves it, even me and I am not a Oreo lover. I recently used the new berry burst ice cream Oreo's instead of the regular Oreo's...WOW amazing!

Was my first cheesecake and it turned out wonderful. Everyone thought I bought it because I am a man. LOL I only used 1/2 cup of butter, 1 cup of stevia sugar, and fine ground some oreo cookies with my Ninja processor. This machine is great. I suggest everyone should have one. If anyone can give me any suggestion, I am open to it.

I just made this. I baked it in a 9 inch dark metal pan. I followed the directions to the best of my ability. After 55 minutes in the oven, the sides of the cheesecake started turning golden brown so I decided to take it out. I am cooling the cheesecake now and it has cracked. I am not sure why, maybe over-mixing the batter or not bringing the ingredients (to room temperature all the way). I have not tasted it, but I am sure it will probably taste good. I also substituted the cream cheese for a generic store brand. For the first time baking this, I am satisfied so far, I can not wait to try a piece and possibly make it again!
