I thought I would try a different cheese cake recipe since I make a lot of them this time of year. This one cracked like crazy and just wasn't that good. I won't make it again. Next time back to my tried and true and in the water bath.

it was my first "real cheesecake" so it was quite an experiment. I found the Oreos were really hard to get fine enough...but it worked out okay. It needed to be in the fridge longer than 4 hours because it tastes best when it is very cold. I also added some cherry juice and some cherries. delish!

Would taste even better with more oreos.

Great recipe, I have made this for Baby Shower's B-day's, parties, and so on. I even used these little springform pans that were shaped into hearts for Valentine's Day Great recipe, but I dound that vanilla oreos actually taste better then the chocolate(regular) and I'm a cohocolate lover.

Great Recipe!!! Friends, Family & Co-workers LOVE IT! There are two recipes for this cheese cake...this one and one listed as "Philly Oreo Cheese Cake" which was once printed on the Philidelphia Cream Cheese Box and made is made in a 13x9 pan. I recomend that one over this one. Also tweek the recipe...increase the suger by 1/2 a cup and double the vanilla. Trust me on this I've gotten rave reviews and and I'm making it again tonight for tomorrows Christmas Party. On a side note...prep time is a little longer then stated and stay away from the NO Bake recipe.

I made this for my family at Easter, and everybody loved it! It was my first time ever baking something on my own, and this was really easy. Because of this, I LOVE COOKING AND BAKING!
