What You Need

pkg. (15.5 oz.) OREO Cookies, divided

1/3

cup butter or margarine, melted

pkg. (8 oz. each) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened

3/4

cup sugar

cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream

tsp. vanilla

Make It

HEAT oven to 350°F.

CRUSH 28 cookies finely; coarsely chop remaining cookies. Mix crushed cookies with butter; press onto bottom and 2 inches up side of 9-inch springform pan.

BEAT cream cheese and sugar in large bowl with mixer until blended. Add sour cream and vanilla; mix well. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing on low speed after each just until blended. Stir in chopped cookies. Pour into crust.

BAKE 55 min. to 1 hour or until center is almost set. Run knife around rim of pan to loosen cake; cool before removing rim. Refrigerate 4 hours.

How to Prevent Overbrowning

To prevent top of cheesecake from becoming too brown, tent with foil for the last 15 to 20 min. of the baking time, if necessary.

I made this for my family at Easter, and everybody loved it! It was my first time ever baking something on my own, and this was really easy. Because of this, I LOVE COOKING AND BAKING!

This was delicious!!! Everyone thought I purchased it at the store. Just be sure to pre cut the slices otherwise everyone makes sloppy cuts & makes it look unpleasant to the eyes. It was a hit.

Sorry, not a keeper. Baked and looked nice. Very little cheese flavor. G-kids liked other recipes better.

i make all kinds of cheese cakes every kind you can think of baking is my passion.....this cheese cake is very good and very easy a no fail cheeses cake for sure

This recipe is fantastic! I love all types of cheesecake, but this is definitely one of the best I have ever made - even when made the low fat way! It's super creamy and even delicious when not fully chilled.

This is a great recipe! However i made the mistake of overbaking it. I will definitly make it again!
