I loved this recipe. You can't taste the peas if you don't like them. I used a spicy sausage and was delicious.

Really good. I decreased the amount of red pepper and added garlic and other seasonings. It was a quick and easy use of things I already had on hand.

I suggest adding 1 - 2 Tbsp. of salsa for additional flavor and the healthy benefits of tomatoes. It is also great with black beans or ranch style beans.

My whole family loves this recipe and I feel good about serving it because not only is it low in fat but it has fibre in it. I use brown and wild rice instead to make it even healthier!!

Cooked this for supper one night. The turkey sasage was really good. I omited half of the red pepper for the kids. Will make this again :)

The picky eater loved it and said I needed to make it again. It was too spicy for the men so I added some cream cheese to cool it down for them.

My family enjoyed this recipe. I added a small amount of garlic powder and I used cayenne pepper in place of the ground red pepper. It wasnt to spicy. When it was done, I topped it with chopped green onions and drizzled it with pepper sauce. We will make this one again.

Used fresh black-eyed peas. Wonderful. Did need to season with garlic salt. My husband also added some tobasco to his.
