I would have put more cheese in it.
I have been making frittata for many years. My problem with this particular version of the recipe is the fat content and amount of cholesterol. My husband has high cholesterol and is on a low-fat, low-cholesterol diet. I would suggest that you offer low-fat versions of your recipes for people with health issues. When I make frittata, I use Egg Beaters in place of whole eggs (and if I add cheese, I use low-fat cheese), and that makes it a much healthier meal.
My family loved it. I added minced onion, tomatoes and mushrooms, it was great, and very easy.
I just added a few other things to it. My family really liked it. I would make it again.
I think with some tweeking I could make it healthier. which I am going to sit down an figure out how to do. For the well being of my family So sorry. Sara.
Done this many times but never knew the name. Very sophisticated name! It is really easy to make. Adding mozzarella cheese to top it up will be really neat! :)
My father makes something like this without the hash browns he calls it egg pizza, i really like the addition of the hash browns though.
Quick-easy-healthy-a meal you can make for any time of the day-breakfast lunch or a light dinner. Substituting other ingriedents creates a whole new meal

When I started to read this recipe I was supprised...For a lot of years I have been making something like it...With a couple exceptions...I like to take and brown up some Italian or Country style sausage with some diced onions and green peppers with a little hot peppers thrown in to add some hotness to it....I add the tomato to it when i add the the tomatoes dont get cooked as much....some times if I have some left over mushrooms...I add them to.....My family has went wild over this recipe for many years....when I serve it up...I like to have homemade salsa or hot stewed tomatoes on the table to eat with it.....thanks for sharing this recipe......
