Tasty and quick. For honey 329- use 1 cup of broccoli, 1 cup of carrots, and 1 cup of red peppers, cut up.

I prefer non instant rice too. All you have to do is cook your rice and add it to the recipe and heat it thru. I quite often make a big pot of regular rice and divide it into 1cup portions and freeze it. Then when I need rice for a recipe like this I just add it. It will fluff up as it heats thru.

The rice in this recipe is minute rice. It doesn't take as long as regular long-grain rice. I would like to see this recipe modified because I like to use long-grain rice--it tastes better than minute rice in my opinion.

This meal was extremely easy to make and it did cook quickly. It took me longer to cut up the vegetables. I did substitute with Kraft Fat-Free Zesty Italian dressing to cut down on the amount of fat....and it was delicious.

looks good, sounds easy, but 5 minutes to cook rice? Usually it takes 22 minutes for me to get rice cooked, and this says 15 minute total cooking time....is this accurate?
