I made the soup with chicken broth, and ground chicken. It was excellent. I also added chili beans (without the chili sauce) and chopped red onion. Very good.

My family loves this recipe. I made a few adjustment to the spicyness of the recipe because we don't care for spicy foods. we give this recipe two thumbs up.

Try using substituting premium chunk chicken breast in water for ground beef and chicken broth substituted for beef broth, quick recipe and taste great.

I added tortilla chips, cornbread, and sour cream and it was phenomenal!! It's hardy and very quick.

Tortilla soup should only be made with chicken and chicken broth. That's what I substituted and it was great!
