Put in extra banana which gave a great flavor. Though delicious, the loaf toughens up quickly after cooling and is not light and fluffy.

We really liked it served warm with spray butter. It was so easy to make with things that we usually have on hand. Perfect breakfast or snack on a cool fall day.

I increased the bananas in this and it was still dry and not very flavorful at all! I thought it would be awesome from the ratings it had and because it has vanilla wafers in it, but wow I was surprised by how dry it was and shocked by the lack of taste or smell. I won't make this one again.

By far the best banana nut bread! During the past few weeks I've made it for neighbors who have had major house damage due to hurricane Katrina and Rita. It's a Great comfort food.

The bananas have to be on the mushy side for the perfect flavor. Very easy to make. My kids loved itserved warm with butter.

I made this recipe for Christmas gifts. The bread was good, but it wasn't mind blowing either.
