I've made this cake 4 times and there are always at least a couple people who ask for the recipe. It has quickly become a fall-favorite.

Excellent choice for Autumn season. I added 1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice because we love spices. Used the 15x10x1 inch pan because there were multiple desserts at this dinner party. People could slice whatever size cake they wanted. Cream cheese frosting was perfect. Requests to bring this cake again.

This was great, took it to work and brought none back. Just the right amount of spice and no one knew miracle whip as in it!

I was a little confused as to if I should make the spice cake recipe as stated on the box or if I should just add the pumpkin to the spice cake mix without the additional water, eggs and oil. I ended up making it with the water, eggs and oil and it tasted raw (I even let it stay in the oven longer than recommended). <<< Response from Kraft Kitchens Expert, Wendy ~ The cake mix is to be used dry from the box. >>>

This was so good! The Miracle Whip and canned pumpkin makes it super moist. I brought it to work and was asked by everyone for the recipe!
