I made this recipie twice in the past month. Both times it was met with rave reviews and I was asked for the recipe. The only substitution I used was egg "substitutes".

Have made these bars twice in the last month! We substituted these for pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving. Very moist with just the right spice/pumpkin flavor.

I made this recipe but substituted unsweetened applesauce for the miracle whip. I didn't make the frosting because I didn't have the ingredients, but the snack bars came out very moist and tasty, with a hint of pumpkin. I am making it for thanksgiving.

I changed the icing by adding 8oZ fat free cream cheese and decreased the confectioners sugar to1/2 and placed 8oZ of can mandarin orange on the top.

Very moist cake, found the frosting to be a tad to sweet, but it would be a big hit if u served it. p.s. had to cook a little longer then stated. HAPPY THANKSGIVING !!!!
