To the frosting I also added 8oz. of cream cheese, 1/2 tsp. of pumpkin pie spice, and 1/2 c. of chopped pecans!! WOW!!

This recipe is so quick and easy, but tastes creamy and delicious as if you'd spent more time on it. I added an 8oz. package of cream cheese to the frosting and kept it refrigerated until serving time. I received several compliments at the office party I brought it to.

I made this for an office treat and it liked by everyone. It is carrot-cake like but with a hint of pumpkin. The homemade frosting is the best.

Finally! The perfect pumpkin bars! I've searched all over for the perfect pumpkin bars and I found them! These are jam-packed with flavor and extremely moist! They're not too crumbly, and smell sooo good while baking. I made mine with pre-made cream cheese frosting because I'm lazy, but I'm sure the homemade is good too. These will be great anytime of the year!
