I will try this again, but instead of a spice cake mix will use cinnamon swirl or carrot cake mix. I am smelling a strong odor of clove from the spice cake and I do not care for clove. (I leave it out in any recipe that calls for it). However, I do think that my family will enjoy this cake tonight for dessert.

This was very simple to make and the flavor is outstanding. Word of caution, keep in the refrigerator after you make it, otherwise the frosting melts right off the cake...in a real short time!

My family didn't like the frosting so the next time I would simply use Cool Whip.

This was wonderful. Made it for a dinner party and got nothing but raves. Also took half the bars to a Social potluck and again, everyone wanted the recipe. So good!!!! Followed the recipe exactly - next time I might try putting in some crushed pecans or on top.

This was so easy to make. I didn't feel like making the icing so I just used cream cheese icing. It's really tasty and I can't wait to make it for the holidays!

Good snack recipe. Didn't like frosting after I made it, so threw it out and used Fluffy Pudding Frosting on this site. I like that frosting because I can use sugar free pudding, it tastes great and I can save a few calories.

I made these for Christmas dessert 2006., I didn't know whether family and friends would appreciate more pumpkin. Everyone loved them and asking for the recipe.

I really liked them, but they were not a huge hit. I will still make them again, maybe it was just the type of get together.
