this pie had an absolutely superb nutter butter flavor. i would use a regular pre-made crust next time. the nutter butter crust was good, but too much work for this pie. the filling tastes very nutter-buttery without the cookie crust. oh, and it is so incredibly rich, a small slice will fill you up!
Ambrosia for peanut butter lovers! I made it 3x. Now I crush the cookies with a chopper. Easy!

I have made this pie many times. Everyone loves it. I did however, discover a way to make it healthier. Instead of sugar, I used Splenda. Instead of regular cream cheese I used light. I also made sure to use light butter and light cool whip. It turns out excellant and actually takes away some of the richness. Excellant!!
This recipe is easy and very delicious. My fiance suggested a chocolate topping, which I incorporated into the recipe; it's wonderful! Definitely a favorite.
I've made this recipe 4 times now! It's a perfect dessert for hot summers when you don't want to turn the oven on. I've substituted the 24 Nutter Butters for 24 Oreo cookies. The chocolate- peanut butter combination is awesome!

My son's 23rd birthday was yesterday, and he's a "pie guy" and peanut butter happens to be one of his favorites, well..this was a huge hit! Everyone couldn't stop talking about it. It was easy to put together, and the drizzle of chocolate on top was wonderful. Only one warning, you don't have to have a huge slice..will definately make again!
This recipe was good and my kids enjoyed it because they like peanut butter. However, it was a little more envolved to make than the recipe indicated. I would probably use a pre-formed vanilla wafer or graham cracker crust next time because I didn't care for the time and effort it took to make the cookies crust. It also needs some sort of chocolat in it maybe on top!
