Cheddar Quick Bread

Cheddar Quick Bread recipe
Cheddar shines in bread that’s moist and a snap to make. No wonder it’s called Cheddar Quick Bread. Warm leftovers in a toaster oven for a real treat.

I love to cook and I've made this bread for my parents many times and they love it. Although, I add about 2 tsp. of garlic powder to give it some more flavor and I also sprinkle some mazorella cheese on the top the last few minutes of baking. Delicious!!!

This was my first bread making attempt! I used a mexican style shredded cheese instead of the chedder, and it was really tasty. I even used the leftover bread for sandwiches.

I found this to be a very easy recipe and we really liked it! It also made great garlic fry bread the next day. Just spread butter or margarine on both sides, sprinkle with garlic powder or garlic salt and fry it in the skillet.

A very easy and quick way to make a cold autumn day a little cozier. My children love bread and butter...this hardly needs butter to be great!
