Cheddar Quick Bread

Cheddar Quick Bread recipe
Cheddar shines in bread that’s moist and a snap to make. No wonder it’s called Cheddar Quick Bread. Warm leftovers in a toaster oven for a real treat.

I changed the recipe by rendering the fat from 3 slices of bacon. I got about 2 tbsp of bacon fat. I usd this fat with some bacon, and added the cooked bacon bits. Not exactly healthy, but very tasty!

This bread had aweful flavor, tasted like flour! I was quit disappointed. Based on the other comments I thought it would be great! Will not make again!

I love this recipe, but I have two things to say: 1- I think oven was too hot, you might want to bake them @ 350 or 375. 2- Instead of a loaf, I made small balls which my kids loved and enjoyed eating. Make sure to leave enough space between them because they will melt a little.

Really impresses The father-in-law. His two favorites things are cheese and bread. I thought i could be more cheesy. Tastes good toasted.

Cheesy, moist, delicious! Feel free to add your own spices like others have suggested. I added garlic powder and loved it!

I made this twice in one week, and each time used reduced fat cheese and lowfat buttermilk. No one could tell that they were lower fat versions...everyone raved how delicious it was. I agreed!

This bread is so easy to make and it tastes great. I added some dill weed to give it some added flavor and it was excellent.
