I took above advice and added salt, onion flakes and garlic. It didn't come out at all like the pic (is it suppose to stick together? It didn't) and it STILL tasted bland.

Needs spices like garlic. A little dull tasting.

It WAS a little bland the first time I made it, but be creative with your spices (salt, pepper, garlic & onion powder, etc.). We now look forward to it with a variety of meals.

It took forever for it to cook, although I admit I did have more potatoes. It needed more parmesan flavor or something. It as a bit bland. Next time I'll try and add either more chesse or some spices.

Have made this twice to rave reviews. My son-in-law and I have decided that next time the potatoes will be layered with thin sweet onion slices - i.e. Vidalias and that we will experiment with a Monteray Jack or sharp cheddar in place of the parmesean. It is a pretty dish as well as good.

I used a food processor to slice the potatoes. Ialso seasoned the potatoes with a garlic and herb seasoning. I really enjoyed the end result. The only thing I really didn't enjoy was making the potatoes in such neat layers. The end result was worth it and I only cooked them for about 40 min. I will definitely make them again because everyone loved them.

The potatos stuck to the pie pan even though I coated it with butter before. I think next time I will use foil to line the pan with. I made this for mother's day and and happy with it, but it will not become a family favorite, more something to use when we are tired of everything else.

These didn't have a lot of flavor and were kind of mushy.
