With hearty layers of spinach, Cheddar, mushrooms and crumbled bacon, this salad has every reason to be called majestic.

What You Need

cups loosely packed shredded fresh spinach

1-1/2

cups KRAFT Shredded Mild Cheddar Cheese, divided

cups sliced fresh mushrooms

small red onion, sliced, separated into rings

pkg. (10 oz. each) frozen peas, thawed

3/4

cup KRAFT Real Mayo Mayonnaise

1/2

tsp. dill weed

1/2

tsp. sugar

slices OSCAR MAYER Bacon, cooked, crumbled

Make It

LAYER spinach, 1 cup cheese, mushrooms, onions and peas in 2-1/2-qt. bowl.

MIX mayo, dill weed and sugar; spread over salad, completely covering top of salad. Refrigerate 5 hours.

TOP with remaining cheese and bacon just before serving.

great! anytime you can make a spectacular, showy salad is wonderful, but to make it a day ahead, even better!! Decorate with tomato wedges and grated, egg yolk and white(boiled eggs!) to make it fancier.

My mother made this salad every potluck we attended in the spring. Everyone requested and the loudest of them all was me! I have always enjoyed this recipe again, believe I will making it alot. Thank You
