I made this side dish one night, because I didn't have much in the pantry. To my surprise, it turned out great! My boyfriend always requests it & I have to double the recipe because he likes it so much!

I made this recipe but I used basil instead and it was very good. I will be making this again. It is a nice change of taste. Even my husband like it.

My boyfriend is the PICKIEST eater on the planet and he LOVED these green beans!! They have been a huge hit at recent potlucks as well. It's so simple and fast and a great way to introduce healthier choices to people who balk at the thought of fresh vegetables.

I used fat free cheese and mine turned out a little "liquidy" too. As frugal as I am though, I saved the extra sauce to pour over some broccoli I'll be having in a day or so. These green beans are an excellent side dish for any meal!!
