Grilled tuna and cheese sandwiches are one of my favorites. I usually make a grilled cheese sandwich, open it up and add the tuna salad afterwards. That way the tuna doesn't slide out while the cheese is melting. Yum!

I make this with chopped pickles instead. I also put it in the broiler w/o the oil until each side is toasted. One of my favorite tuna lunches!

I didn't have celery so I just used cheese and the tuna. It was delicious and a nice change from a regular grilled cheese.

LOVED IT! It was my first attempt at making a tuna melt sandwich and it was great. I think I will try miracle whip instead of mayo next time to see if it adds a little bit more flavor, as it was a tiny bit bland.

I don't think that there was anything wrong with the Kraft recipe its just that I didn't like the miracle whip warm.

I HAVE BEEN MAKING THIS FOR YEARS AND KIDS AND I JUST LOVE IT! SOMETIMES WE EXPERIMENT WITH DIFFERENT CHEESES AND BREADS. SOOO GOOD!
