Mallow-Topped Sweet Potato Bake

I will make this recipe over and over again...mmmmmm so tasty.

Did I do something wrong?! After reading all the positive reviews I knew that my sweet potato casserole would be a hit at the Thanksgiving potluck. Instead, when I made it the ingredients clumped together in the pan even after cooking and stirring for a very long time. I thought maybe they would at least mix in with the sweet potatoes in the mixer but they remained sticky and clumped in pieces. I had to fish them them out and ended up improvising. I still used the marshmellows on the top though and I think that went over big.

I have made this dish several times and it's great. My kids love it and request it every holiday!
