I make these macarroons every year for Passover. He loves chocolate! Unfortunately, he hates cocconuts, so I substituted Matzoh Meal for it. They came out great! Very Tasty!!

These came out really well. Mine looked better then the picture, more like actual macaroons. I am very pleased with the recipe the way it is, but you could easily adjust the recipe to tailor it to your liking. Ex: mix up the nuts, use semisweet chocolate, etc.

Question: Does two squares of chocolate mean two individually wrapped pieces or two of the actual squares (two a wrapped together). The recipe needs to also include amount, weight, such as ounces would help this be clear. Thanks though.

Great tasting, and an easy recipe. I brought them to work and they were very well received. My only advice would be to not use too heaping of a teaspoon of batter - they're quite rich and it's best to have smaller macaroons.

I like these best with semi sweet chocolate, but I love sweet things. I haven't had a problem with the cookies sticking. I grease the pans first--just like in the directions, and cook for about 13 minutes. Everyone loves them! If you need a quick treat and you're in a hurry these are super!
