I had never made biscotti before but always wanted to try. Unfortunately, I didn't have any almonds so I made it without the nuts but used melted semi-sweet and white chocolate drizzled over the pieces. Everyone loved it, even my husband who is not a big biscotti fan. His major comment was how really good it will be when I make it again but using the almonds this time. This is a winner!!

Excellent recipe! Just the recipe I was looking for to expand my Biscotti file. Very easy to make and plenty of options to substitute.

This was my first attempt at making biscotti. Had to add extra flour to handle dough, but cookies were relatively easy to make. The chocolate lovers in my family loved them.

Needed to add extra 1/2 cup flour in order to handle dough. I also dipped one edge of each cookie into dark chocolate from extra chocolate flavor in your mouth. Very popular gifts at Christmas!
