What You Need

Bread Mix

cups flour

cup sugar

cup BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chunks

1/2

cup chopped PLANTERS Walnuts

tsp. CALUMET Baking Powder

1/4

tsp. salt

To Bake Bread

eggs

cup mashed fully ripe bananas (about 3)

1/3

cup oil

1/4

cup milk

Make It

BREAD MIX: Place Bread Mix ingredients in 1-gal. resealable plastic food storage bag; seal bag. Place bag in disposable 9x5-inch foil loaf pan. Place in decorative gift bag. Store at room temperature until ready to prepare bread or give as a gift.

TO BAKE BREAD: Heat oven to 350°F. Mix eggs, bananas, oil and milk in large bowl until well blended. Add Bread Mix; stir just until moistened. Spray foil loaf pan with cooking spray; fill with batter.

BAKE 55 min. or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Store tightly wrapped at room temperature.

AWESOME! I've made this bread twice and the first time I cut the recipe in half and it still made a nice sized loaf. It's a GREAT quick bread or snack to have ready in an hour.

I loved this recipe! It was easy to make and the bread was nice and moist. I am making more mini loaves to freeze and to give to friends!

This recipe is a favorite in our home, especially in the winter months. It's a very simple recipe to follow and the kids have a blast mashing up the bananas. We usually add semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips instead of the chunks. The final baked result is a moist bread with a wonderfully sweet crust. This one is a keeper.

I was so excited to make my first banana bread, however, I was quite disappointed with the outcome. After 75 minutes of baking, it was still under done in the very centre, felt as heavy as a brick, and was quite mediocre. I was hoping for a nice light fluffy bread. I guess the search is still on.

I have made this several times. It is so good now I have to make a double batter. The kids love it and so will you!Great for breakfast to.

This banana bread was a big hit in my home. It tastes sweeter than most even the crust formed on the top. My 17 year old came in and ate half the loaf. I shaved little semi sweet chocolate laces into it. My next I am going to try nuts as well.
