This is my new favorite. Everyone raved. Would serve this to the President! Very moist!!! Was unclear about the center. Heavily used Polan ers Sugar Free Seedless Raspberry Perserves between layers. Frosted only sides and tops. Don't think it matters how you put this together. I can only make it for special occations or would make myself sick from eating the whole thing.

This cake was very decadent and tasy too! However, it is a recipe that I won't make often...too many calories. But an excellent "special occasion" dessert!

I made this for a party last week. Very good but very rich. Small pieces is plenty. I tried the marble effect and it did not turn out. I had to start over with a new cake mix

This cake was our family's Easter dessert. Many commented it tasted like a wedding cake. I found it easy to make; chocolate melted with no problem in my microwave oven. My suggestions: place cake dough into 3 pans instead of 2. Icing. Increase recipe 1 1/2 times. Used rasberry Jam for center found in a cake supply store. This cake is absolutely delicious.

This was so easy to make, and yet impressive to serve. The marbel effect was great, and the jam between the layers really kept the cake moist. The cake is dense and filling, and guests will enjoy it, especially when served with extra fresh raspberries.

My cake turned about a little dry, although we liked the frosting and rasberry jam with the cake.

The raspberry jam added so much flavor to this recipe. This cake has become one of my favorites.
