Loved it. Next time I am going to try seedless strawberry jam and a strawberry garnish. Raspberries are hard to find in my produce section.

I needed deeper 9" pans or to use three layer pans. The batter spilled over in my oven. Layers were not even, but wow great taste.

In reading over the recipe, it seems like so ingredients are missing. Before I make it, are there not more ingredients for the cream cheese frosting?

Cake was delicious, everyone loved it. However, I only had 8" round cake pans - make SURE you use 9" because the cake spills over the sides and then you have a ledge to cut off. I did the raspberry marble effect and that was a nice touch.

This cake was fabulous and easy! The only thing I would recommend is that if you are going to decorate the cake, use a buttercream or other heavy decorating icing on the outside (this will not affect the overall taste), but definately use the white chocolate cream cheese frosting for the inside layers. I made this cake twice and the second time I divided the cake into 4 layers spreading the rasberry and cream cheese frosting between these layers creating 3 layers of the rasberry and cream cheese frosting, I thinks this enhanced the flavor.

The cake was wonderful.. All my guests LOVED it, however one thing to change is to let the icing cool almost completely before applying it to the cake as my icing slide off the cake because it was too warm from the melted chocolate.
