Are some people having problems with this recipe because it calls for whipping cream and they are using cool whip?Could this make a difference?
Very rich, chocolate dessert. I did not get the medium peeks after many miutes of beating on medium. It did not rise like the picture so I used the remaining cool whip as topping to help fill the pie to the top. I may have help reduce the "richness" of this dessert. It was good enough to make again.
Very easy to make! I shaved a chocolate bar on top before serving and it looked so elegant. An easy 'wow' dessert! Yummy too!

It was very easy to make. This pie is rich but not too rich, not over powering. Was very good! I've saved the recipe in my recipe box!
This pie was easy to make, but did turn out the way you would expect a mousse dessert. Instead of being light and fluffy like other mousse pies, it was very compact and heavy. It was solid. And there was too much chocolate, which wasn't even sweet. I was disappointed. I've had other chocolate mousse pies and they were completely different.
it's not the same recipe as the old one cool whip put out but it's the best since that one... would love to get my hands on the old cool ship and knox geletin recipe you put put on the back of the coolwhip label.
