Chocolate Bliss Cheesecake

Chocolate Bliss Cheesecake recipe
It starts with an Oreo Cookie crust and just keeps getting better, with whipped chocolate-cheesecake goodness in every bite. High-five, cheesecake lovers.

My husband and I loved this recipe. He wanted a chocolate cheescake for Valentine's Day so I found this recipe and made it. I did change a few things. Some of the other reviews kept saying that it was a little bitter so I used milk chocoate chips instead of semi-sweet chips. For the crust I bought and Oreo crust already made and slid it into the spring-form pan, crushed it up a bit, added the butter and pressed it down. It fit perfectly without the fuss. My husband wanted chocolate cherry cheescake so I bought a can of cherry pie filling and spooned some on top of each slice. Delicious!!!!!

It was good but a bit of a chocolate overload. And I love chocolate!! It was very hard to make and mine didn't come out as beautiful as the picture.

It was pretty easy to make and my family loved it. The only thing I changed from the original recipe was that I used 3 fat-free cream cheese instead of the regular which sacrificed the taste a bit I think. I also used one cup of sugar instead of 3/4 which helped. Next time I make it I will definitely forget about the fat-free (or use 1 fat free and 2 regulars)and use way more oreos for the crust.

I love to bake, but have never made a cheesecake because I don't have a springform pan. I borrowed a pan from someone just to try this recipe for Valentine's Day. It was SO good!!! Not a hard recipe at all. My boyfriend and I absolutely LOVED it! Make it the night before so it's ready when you need it. I think I'm going to invest in a pan so I can try more cheesecakes!

So easy to make and very good, however, I found this cheesecake to be too bitter for my taste, and I love chocolate... Does anyone know how can I make it less bitter?

This tasted GREAT! (However, does anyone know why mine didn't rise as high? Only rose about 1 inch.) Apparently size didn't affect the taste. Family loved it!

I have made several chocolate cheesecakes, all with not so good results. This one however was rich, creamy and dense. I did add two extra packages of cream cheese because we like our cheesecakes thick. I also used Splenda in place of the sugar and a crushed nut crust, due to a diabetic in the family. It worked out just fine. I am happy to have this recipe in my files.

I usually do not eat cheesecake, but I figured chocoloate, of course I'll try it. It was GREAT!!! It was a big hit at a get-to-gether. I'll definately make it again and not change a thing.
