Great recipe! Tastes better w/o cheese to me though. A quick way to make jambalya, just add your sausage and green peppers when you add the other ingredients.

I thought this was incredibly bland. I like some of the suggestions here to use rotel and corn, possibly cumin and some other spices. It definitely needed something extra.

I make this recipe with two cans of Rotel, a small can of corn, and load it with cheese. Everyone who has eaten it loves it!

This recipe is not only delicious but very nutritious! I also love that it's cheap, makes a lot, and uses things you already have in your pantry. This has become a staple in my home. Also, I usually don't buy monterey jack cheese, but I have used mozzarella or cheddar and both have been wonderful.

I modified it to meet the ingredients that I had available, white kidneys instead of red, salsa instead of canned toatoes. And I added corn! The corn compensated for fewer tomatoes, and the salsa added great flavor. There were no leftovers and they still wanted more!

Fast, Simple & full of flavor!!! I didnt have kidney beans on hand for this so I just used a can of Bushes chili beans and made it in my rice cooker. Added some cummin and chili pepper to the turkey as it browned.I also served w/ Tortilla chips. Will make again when it is cold as a good warm meal.

GREAT quick fix meal with your everyday pantry items. I substituted one can of corn in place of one can of the tomatos. I used McCormick Grill Mates Hamburger Seasoning, salt, and black pepper to taste. Goes great with cornbread!
