I used chocolate cake in place of pound cake and sprinkled toffee bits on top of pounding mixture in the layers and on top to finish it off. Everyone had at least two servings of this dessert!

This desert was so easy and quick to make. I think it would also be good with a different flavor of pudding and syrup than traditional chocolate. I will definitely make this again and again. My family and I loved it!

I've made this several times for several different people and everyone loved it each time. I made it for a friend who entered it in a contest at work and it came in second place. I made it for a previous job one Christmas holiday and they liked it so much that they asked me to make several and they auctioned them off to raise money for a charity.

I made this with angel food cake - it didn't really work. I also used off brand jello, which gave it an odd taste. My husband was not a fan.

I substituted vanilla pudding for the chocolate, and omitted the chocolate syrup. Instead I added strawberries. It was divine. I made the pound cake myself and it was fresh and light, and only took an hour. A friend made the exact recipie but added kahlua as well. Amazing!
