What You Need

NILLA Wafers, finely crushed (about 2-1/2 cups crumbs)

cup powdered sugar

cup finely chopped PLANTERS Pecans

1/2

cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, melted

Tbsp. light corn syrup

Tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder

tsp. MAXWELL HOUSE Instant Coffee

1/4

cup rum

cup BAKER'S ANGEL FLAKE Coconut, toasted

Make It

MIX wafer crumbs, sugar, pecans, butter, corn syrup and cocoa.

DISSOLVE instant coffee granules in rum. Add to crumb mixture; mix well. Let stand 15 min.

SHAPE mixture into 1-inch balls; roll in coconut. Place in airtight container with sheet of wax paper between each layer of balls. Store at room temperature.

It was so easy to make and it was a big hit at the office during Chocolate day in our department. It definitely is addicting. You can't just eat one and walk away from it....you definitely will come back for another.

If you want alcolades, you must serve these at any type of party you give. They go just about as fast as my bacon-wrapped chicken livers.

The Decandent Rum Balls was a hit this holiday season. My whole family loved it this recipe was really easy to make and it took no time at all. This recipe is a keeper.

way too greasy, I put them in a tin and the surface of the counter was greasy. So, I put a whole section of newspaper underneath them and it became saturated. What a mess. Also, they were so greasy they kind of flattened out. In addition, even after sitting for a month the flavor didn't become enhanced as is usually the case w/rum balls.

I made this receipe for my office Christmas party and everyone loved them. I made them on Sunday, and the party wasn't until Wednesday. I refrigerated them, so by Wednesday they were like taking a shot of rum with each bite. Very tasty!
