Husband and I loved it and would even make it for company sometime. I did add about a teaspoon of honey and it still had some kick. For picky eaters I would substitute 1/4 to 1/2 of the mustard with honey.
This was delicious. I served with couscous and tomatoes, with lime juice squeezed all over. I will definitely serve this again!
I followed the marinade recipe at the bottom and let it marinade for about 6 hours, and added honey and chopped cilantro, it was sooo good!! Didn't even need the dipping sauce!!
This recipe was absolutely delicious! The sauce gave the chicken just the right tangy flavor, but wssn't overpowering. Next time I serve chicken fingers I'm going to make some of the sauce for dippin!! YUM
The first time I made this, I wanted to make only half as much as the recipe directed, but I accidentally added the same amount of garlic, and paired with the mustard, it was horrible. But I made this a second time and it was awesome! Instead of using the honey mustard it called for, I used equal parts honey and dijon mustard, so it might have come out sweeter than intended; however, my daughter ate slices of the breast in a sandwich, and she loved it, and that was probably thanks to the added sweetness. I suggest trying this version if you have picky eaters who don't like the original recipe.
I really liked this recipe! It was easy. I did do a few things different: I did 1/4 c. dijon mustard and 1/4 c. honey because I didn't have the already made. I would also recommend the lime zest. It really added a freshness to the chicken. I think you could also do regular mustard and honey the same way and it will taste okay. I liked that you didn't have to marinate it for it to still be good. I put mine right on the grill after brushing on the sauce and it was great!
It was okay. The mustard flavor was a bit overpowering. I added honey to the sauce and that made it a bit better. But not one of the best flavors I've had. Will probably not make again.
I loved this! In fact my whole family ate it and liked it. I changed a couple things because I didn't have the right mustard, but it was delicious. I used 3 Tbsp Dijon Mustard and about 2 Tbsp Honey.
Not only was this easy to make but it tasted very delicious! The combined flavors of the honey mustard, lime, garlic and soy blended very well together. I will definitely make this again!
This is a great chicken recipe, I loved the flavor and taste of lime.
