Not as good as the original 7-layer bars, but tasty!

I made these for my grandparents as a Christmas gift and before I knew it they were passing them around to every member of my family, all of whom exclaimed they wanted some next year. I made one batch with raisins and another with cranberries and it was just amazing both ways. My only recommendation would be to either spray the foil before you make the crust or refrigerate it after it's cooled and pel the foil off. Regardless what the recipe says, it does stick.

I loved the result of this recipe. I used unsweetened chocolate instead of the sweetened one. The result was excellent. My family loved it as well. However, next time, I will not use the foil and also, I would use a smaller baking pan. Thanks for the recipe.

This was a huge hit on Christmas. My only sugestion is to bake it slightly longer (3 to 4 mins) than the directions to get a better bar texture.

I didn't like the walnuts, but I am sure it would have been great with pecans.

A very simple recipe. My only problem was that the base did not become firm and hence, I could not cut it into bars/squares. We just used a spoon to scoop it up. :) But it was definitely yummy!

Everyone in my family just loves this recipe. I had no problem with it sticking to the foil. I just buttered the foil before putting in the graham cracker crumbs. It works great!
