One of my favorite and most requested recipes. Thanks for putting the recipe back on the bag, I can't imagine why you ever removed it. I just added a drained, half marschino cherry to the little indentation on the bottom . . which became the top, stuck it on with a little filling. Now they look Christmassy. My cousin suggested dipping them half-way in chocolate, which I will try soon. I'm also going to try adding/substitutiing coconut to the filling. I love the versaility as well as the excellent original. Yeah ! for Stella D'Oro cookies ! ! !
