Garlic Mashed Potatoes recipe

Best. Mashed Potatoes. Ever. But then, considering cream cheese and fresh garlic are involved, it's really an unfair competition.

My family LOVED this recipe. I had to celebrate Thanksgiving early this year. I work the whole Holiday weekend! Anyway, I tried this and they raved about it. I used the Philly cheese with onions & chives. They were really delicious. I will make these every Thanksgiving and throughout the year!

It was not clear to me, but do you keep the garlic in the potatos when you strain and mash them?

I could hardly taste the garlic. The potatoes were very bland. I'll make the recipe again just tweak it a bit, great consistency.

DELICIOUS! These were a hit with the family! The garlic and cream cheese add a lot to the flavoring and I'll definitely be making these type of mashed potatoes once in a while.

LOVE THIS!!! I usually add chicken or beef broth/bouillon cubes while I cook the potatoes and it works great with this recipe too. I have used Chive/onion Cream cheese or Vegetable Cream Cheese, so I like to try different flavors - depending on the main dish served. Delicoius!

Simple and easy to make! I accidentally strained out most of the garlic when the potatoes were done but they came out great, and my picky boyfriend had no idea I put cream cheese in them!
