Garlic Mashed Potatoes recipe

Best. Mashed potatoes. Ever. But then, considering cream cheese and fresh garlic are involved, it's really an unfair competition.

Not so overflavored with garlic that they don't taste good with gravy. Really good with and without gravy.

These potatoes were EXCELLENT. I just made them for Thanksgiving dinner. I did add some extra garlic and a little pepper and garlic powder just because we all love garlc in our family. Highly recommend these!

My family LOVED this recipe. I had to celebrate Thanksgiving early this year. I work the whole Holiday weekend! Anyway, I tried this and they raved about it. I used the Philly cheese with onions & chives. They were really delicious. I will make these every Thanksgiving and throughout the year!

It was not clear to me, but do you keep the garlic in the potatos when you strain and mash them?

I could hardly taste the garlic. The potatoes were very bland. I'll make the recipe again just tweak it a bit, great consistency.

DELICIOUS! These were a hit with the family! The garlic and cream cheese add a lot to the flavoring and I'll definitely be making these type of mashed potatoes once in a while.

LOVE THIS!!! I usually add chicken or beef broth/bouillon cubes while I cook the potatoes and it works great with this recipe too. I have used Chive/onion Cream cheese or Vegetable Cream Cheese, so I like to try different flavors - depending on the main dish served. Delicoius!
