Easy BBQ Ribs

Easy BBQ Ribs recipe
Easy can’t even begin to describe it. We’re talkin’ just two ingredients, but a powerful duo they are. Ribs simmer to get tender, then get grilled with a coating of sauce.

My husband made this recipe for our 4th of July celebration with our son & his family. Everyone raved about it. I didn't try it because I am a vegetarian so must rely on others as judges.

another trick to this big hit is to add coca-cola or some other carbonated soft drink to the bbq sauce before applying it to the meat and then let it simmer in the oven. depending on how long you leave the meat in the oven. the meat will fall off the bones the moment you bite into it!

We tried both the "standard" recipe (boiling water) and a suggested alternative (375 oven for 1 hour with ribs in beer), and felt that the beer/oven recipe produced more tender and taseteful ribs. While the boiling water method may be faster, the beer/oven method struck us being the better and preferred of the two methods. We used BullsEye as our BBQ sauce, but expect the same result will result from any tomato-based BBQ sauce.

We made these for Father's Day and they were GREAT! My 5 year old daughter and 3 1/2 year old son asked me to make them "EVERY NIGHT!" The best part is that they were super easy and quick!
