Easy BBQ Ribs

Easy BBQ Ribs recipe
Easy can’t even begin to describe it. We’re talkin’ just two ingredients, but a powerful duo they are. Ribs simmer to get tender, then get grilled with a coating of sauce.

You just don't boil ribs & call them barbecued!!! It is boiled meat with no flavor, kind of like British food. It should be called Boiled Ribs with Barbecue Sauce.

The ribs were so tender! Simmering the ribs before grilling really did the trick.

These ribs were so tender and delicious. I added an onion and Lawry's seasoned salt to the water and the ribs turned out just fabulous.

After a few adjustments to this recipe, it will now be a "keeper". Followed the recipe initially to the "letter", but my family felt the some changes needed to be made. I seasoned the ribs prior to par-boiling with garlic salt and black pepper and added about a 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar to the water. We also cooked the ribs a little longer on the grill (about 20 minutes). Excellent...done to perfection!!

The pork was not tender and juicy like i thought it was supposed to be. I will continue slow cooking mine in the oven for a couple hours wrapped in foil, then finish them on the grill while rubbing them with the BBQ sauce. If heating up the kitchen from oven heat is a problem, the slow cooker (crock pot) works just as well.
