Great taste. Potatoes were still a little hard after cooking as directed. But frozen shredded hash browns worked perfectly. Not at all dry. I will definately make this one again.

Potatoes still firm even after extended cooking. maybe mashed potatoes would work as well?

This has become one of my favorite meals. I've made some adjustments though, I add extra A1 to make it a little juicier (plus I love A1) and I add sliced cheddar instead of the shredded. I also leave out the potatoes, making it more like a meatloaf, but I've found that my family doesn't like the potatoes because they don't pick up much of the flavor from the meat.

This recipe was very easy to make, and even picky husband ate it up. I substituted bbq sauce for the steak sauce, and added green and red peppers. Delicious! thanks .
