This cake was wonderful!!! I made it for my young cousins and they thought it was the most wonderful thing, I used the cake that was cut out of the middle and made them in to mini cakes with the teddygrahams and life savers i had left over. The only bad things about the cake was that it didn't serve very many people and it wasn't very tasty to an adult tastebud, but like I said my young cousins thought the cake was wonderful. P.S. My jello didn't turn out just right, I couldn't get it to the right consistency, so my pool water looked like it had waves.

I think there should be little 'swedish fish' in the jell-o. I have seen many variations of this cake, and I tweeked withthis recipie myself. With this recipie as a base, you can desighn many different themes. My variation was, instead of a beach scene, make a dino dig! I used chocolate frosting instead og white and a dark colored jell-o. I used candy dino's and added them to the jell-o so they could be scene and little paleantologists on the outside. Using licorice whips and petzels stix, I set up a digging site on the cake. It turned out fabo!

This cake was the hit of the pool party we had recently. It was very easy to make and my kids age 8 and 4 loved decorating it!
