This was fairly easy to put together. Instead of white icing, I colored it to resemble the color of our pool deck and even added some graham cracker sticks as "stones" for around the pool and a dive rock. I also used fruit rollups cut into small retangular shapes to resemble beach towels! I made a small banner and used the squiggly candles to resemble Tiki torches for the candles! My daughter loved it.

We loved this idea! I used a separate, smaller pan to form the jello in and simply cut the shape of the pan out. It was for my daughter's 4th birthday and she loved to help put it together. Very fun!

This was a great recipe. My sister and I made it for our younger sister's seventh birthday party. It turned out very well and was easy to make. We had a little extra jello so we made four small jello cakes with it. (We used the four cake rectangles taken from the cake for the pool). Instead of using Teddy Grahms for people, we used Polly Pocket figures. We decorated the cake with on-hand fruit snacks and paper umbrella toothpicks. This was a wonderfull recipe and I would gladly make it again.

This cake turned out even cuter than I could have ever imagined. We practiced once and I didn't like how thin the cake was, so we purchased a sheet cake from the store and asked for it to be plain white and then we followed the recipe from there. That was the cake was nice and symetrical. The recipe makes way too much jello, only use one box!! We also took someone elses suggestion and made towels out of fruit roll ups and put the teddy grahams out like they were tanning. We made a diving board and a lifeguard chair as well out of sugar waffer cookies and then used the teddy grahams for swimmers and the lifeguard. The kids all said "this is the 'awesomest' cake I've ever seen!!!"

I made this cake for a Pie & Cake auction at my church. What happens is we make cakes & pies and sell them for money going towards youth camp and other youth activites. I am 14 and I made this with my sisters age 12 and 6, and it was so much fun! It was a huge hit! It got lots of comments and was sold for $1,300!

I am not a baker and attempted this cake for my daughter's birthday. It is by far the best cake I have ever made. My mother thought the jello would be gross but every single piece of this cake was eaten. Be careful not to cut too much cake out of the middle so that the jello does not run out. It is a lot of fun to make!
