I also added mushrooms, turkey sausage, and sliced chicken breasts. It was enough for 7 servings. We loved it, IT WAS GREAT!

My husband, son-in-law & sons loved this recipe. I used sweet sausage, converted rice (cooked & added) & then added more chicken broth as needed. This is a keeper!

My husband and I absolutely loved this dish. My kids did not eat this and I didn't even attempt to give it to them because the little kick it did have would have been too spicy for them. Their little palates are extremely sensitive to spice. I used sweet Italian turkey sausage instead of hot sausage links. I followed the other recommendations and added a little hot sauce as it was needed and I liked the sweet tang the barbecue sauce gave it. I had some celery on hand so I chopped that up and put it in as well. I also seasoned to taste because we are flavor fanatics and it was missing a little something on its own. Use whatever seasonings you like at your discretion…I don’t think you can go wrong with this dish. All in all this was really a great dish for the amount of time it took to make. I will definitely make this again.

This was a very good and easy recipe. My husband loved it. I hadn't made jambalaya in many years because of the time it took. With just two of us, I divided it in half and used smoked sausage since that was what I had on hand. I added some Chilula hot sauce. My husband said I can make this anytime.

My wife and I both loved this recipe and thought it was the best Jambalaya we have ever had. The barbecue sauce gave it a nice twist and balanced the flavors. Outstanding!!!

I was looking for a creative way to use sausage, and this was a really good dish! I think the bbq sauce isn't needed--it kinda changed the flavor a bit to me--so next time I may omit and go with the rest.

This was fantastic. My boyfriend loved it and could not get enough of it.

I left out the BBQ sauce so that the jambalaya wouldn't be too sweet. The whole family loved it and keeps asking for it again and again! Simple and Delicious :)

Unfortunately my husband and I hate this recipe. I wanted so bad to love it because it was so easy to make. It was too sweet. We only ate one bowl each and neither one of us would eat the leftovers so we had to throw it out. So sad and what a waste.
