Great recipe! I used 8 oz. of tomato sauce & diced tomatoes with green chiles. I also used chicken instead of shrimp and cooked it with some creole seasoning. Mmmmmm-mmmmm!!!

personaly, i believe if you use a kinda sweet bar-b-que sauce it a more rounded flavore and brings down the heat of the sausage. and a teaspoon of salt with your chicken broth

I loved this recipe!!! I am not the best cook, but the instructions were really easy to follow and it all turned out okay. My boyfriend is really picky too, but he loved it. I will definatly make this again!

I combined Hot Brats and Kielbasa that was cut up. I doubled sauce and rice. There were no leftovers.

We enjoyed this recipe! I used 1/4 cup BBQ sauce, chicken instead of sausage & a N'Orleans Cajun Seasoning, Loved It!!!

Thought it was pretty tasty and very easy to make. Used chicken instead of shrimp. Make sure you enjoy the BBQ sauce you're using because it will be one of the main flavors. Next time I will use more rice and spice, less chicken broth and possibly drain the tomatos.

Too sweet, as others have mentioned. Not enough cajun spice to make it true jambalaya.
