This recipe is awesome. it can be changed to suit your taste or your mood. I always substitute Feta cheese for the parmesan..very yummy, it's a staple in my house. We make it at least every other week.

Try using German or Polish sausge. It turns this side dish into a main dish. It has become a family favorite in my home.

Made this numerous times and will many times. Rice is not a favorite of my husband, but he likes this recipe. Add some saute chicken and you have a quick delicious dinner.

I have made this twice now. The first time exactly as stated and we enjoyed it. The second time I added portabella mushrooms instead of the tomatoes and added Romano and asiago cheeses. It was perfect for us. We will make it again.
