i used 1/2 cup white wine in place of some of the chicken stock, and also added mushrooms and 2 cloves garlic - it was awesome! next time i'd probably add just a bit more liquid - once i added the cheese, it got really gooey.

Most amazing rice dish!!! I make this once a week, I add about a half cup of sauteed mushrooms with 1 minced garlic clove....even better!!

This has become one of my family's favorite meals. We eat it every other week. I recommend a nice crusty bread and salad. Easy and delicious!

Easy to make, nutritious, great taste. Great comfort food in the winter, great for summer eating too.

It was difficult for me to make but tasty. Next time I make it I will probably cut the bacon strips into pieces and not cut the onion so small. I had a problem with the onion cooking too fast and the bacon too slow. But once i got past that everything began to flow and it turned out great. Also, it is a small meal.. I have a big family and we decided to use it as a side dish tonight.
