This recipe was very filling. My family enjoyed it. I cut the recipe in half. My husband would like me to make it with more potato and more sausage and less tomatoes. I'll try the fresh chili and tomatoes next time.

Made this for a Sunday brunch, it was very good!! Very filling, we weren't hungry again until later that night. And so easy to make...I had everything on hand!

We used low fat shredded cheese, turkey sausage, fresh tomatoes and chilis and probably cut the fat / cholesterol/sodium by at least half. It had to sit a little longer, but it was still good.

Made this for Superbowl brunch. My husband loved it. Used Shredded Cheddar instead of Valveeta and 1lb role of sausage(could not get 8oz packages), so used what I had on hand. Just let stand a little longer. Good leftovers!

Would make again, but only once in a great while because of the high fat, high sodium, and high cholesterol count.
