Caribbean Pork 'N Rice

Turned out very good.. Quick and Easy.. I used hawaiian marinade instead of the barbeque sauce. Will definately make again!

I added zucchini, garlic and crushed red pepper flakes. This meal was very good. My husband says it is a keeper!

This is an excellent dinner. I found it easy to do and cook. Also, this was ready in under an hour. I love this dinner.

I loved this recipe except for the barbecue sauce. Next time I make it, I will substitue a teriake marinade

I added the Jerk seasoning as well as onion and garlic powder and cooked the rice seperately. We have done this dish twice and may add the rice to the dish as per the recipe next time.

I agree with the comment about needing some "oomp".... this entire meal, went to waste. The family did not like it. I like a recipe I can follow that will be more like "wow" instead of "BLAHH"..... it was very BLAND.. it needed something. I will not try and alter to make again...... yuck.

I used a pre-marinated BBQ tenderloin and also added the BBQ sauce. Instead of using white rice, I used a package of oriental stir fry. I will definitely try this again, but with the white rice.

I, also, would modify this. (Read all the reviews -- I wish I had.) Needs more 'oomf.' My husband put tabasco sauce in his and my children wouldn't eat it (the pineapple, but I happen to love pineapple, which meant more for me!). More BBQ sauce, marinating the pork, or something. I'll be trying again! This was a very good start and not one bite went to waste.

I used a pork tenderloin by Bryan Meats that is pre-marinaded in BBQ sauce. If this brand is not available in your area, marinade overnight in your own sauce. I also added garlic. This meal was so easy and delicious. My husband bragged and bragged. He thought I had spent hours in the kitchen. (Don't tell him it was only 45 min. total)
