I added 1/2 tsp of white pepper to mixture before adding the rice and it turned out great...a bit of a kick.

It was ok but I will not make it again the meat was really bland it needs to be seasoned with something else but over all it had a very unique taste my family did not like it thought

Extremely tasty! I used a 20 oz. can of pineapple chunks and added a bit more instant rice, and added black pepper. There was plenty of it for leftovers!

My family liked this recipe quite a bit. I used half brown rice, half white rice cooked ahead. Toward the end of the cooking time, I added 2/3 of the pineapple juice to the rice and the other 1/3 of the juice to the meat and vegetables when I added the pineapple. I eliminated the water.

Great find. We didnt have minute rice on hand so we just cooked the rice seperately and omitted the water and pineapple juice from the receipe. Turned out great.

Good recipe. Needed alittle more sauce/flavor so we added teryaki sauce.
