Very fun to make! My kids helped me and loved it!! We put colored sprinkles on top! We also used white chocolate!
My husband loves chocolate covered marshmallows, so when I saw this recepie I had to try it. He/we loved it! It didn't have that "old/stale" taste like the store bought ones. Since I like cherries, I topped it with some halved maraschino's and dipped it in the cherry sauce...OOhhh soooo goooood!!!
What an easy sweet treat. Made for my son's class for valentines day party and were a big hit!
Everyone in our Valentine's Day playgroup loved this-- especially the moms. Since some of the children had nut allergies I substituted crushed up graham crackers for the nuts. They made it a real it just like campfire s'mores. Super quick!
my five year old daughter made this , so easy to make and taste great
valentines 2006, I did a silly thing....I used white chocolate chips & crushed peppermint candy. Tasted good, hard to do--chips didn't melt runny enough to coat marshmallows easily. Next time I will follow the directions
Very easy and quick to make.
I make these for every holiday & get-together. Christmas I dip in red or green colored white chocolate & roll in coconut. I also like chocolate marshmallows rolled in graham cracker crumbs. Play with this recipe alot. Choose different colors of chocolate/white chocolate/peanut butter chocolate. Vary your topings. This is a fun & delicious dessert.
I made these with my 6 year old daughter for Valentine's Day. We made 150 for school, church and home and I have never heard so many rave reviews from so many different people. We used chocolate almond bark which is much cheaper and it turned out great. The only thing to know is that this should not be a last minute thing. It takes awhile to dip and drip all those yummy marshmallows! We also used all kinds of Valentines sprinkles and surprisingly the cinnamon ones were a favorite of everyone.
Everyone enjoyed these truffles. We used a toothpick in the marshmallow so we could roll in crushed nuts rather than just a sprinkle on top. We also varied the recipe by replacing the nuts with crushed graham crackers and rolling them in the graham crackers for a smore like desert.
