I made this exact recipe with the exception of nuts. Then I made it again with some substitutions. I used splenda rather than sugar, low fat whipping cream and low fat butter. The taste was just as good and probably better knowing that it was less fatting. Thanks so much!

Sounds wonderful, but I was surprised with the title there were no apples in the recipe. Then I realized that it was for the 'Caramel-Apple' caramels. I would substitute chopped dried apples for the raisins and have a true caramel apple taste!

I couldn't find the Caramel Apple Caramels but regular one still worked great. My 4 year old had a blast helping with this very easy recipe.
