Very easy. I just sliced the cookies and laid them on the cookie sheet instead of rolling and using heart cutter. Then I drew hearts on the tops with an icing pen and put pink sprinkles also. It was much easier and still beautiful and tasted delicious! I took them into my son's preschool for the Valentine Day treat :) BIG HIT!
